Local learning data
The app stores the child’s name, if entered, parent email address, preferences, practice results and mistakes, spelling words and sentences, learning progress, reward details and photos, and optional word recordings locally. These support practice, progress, speech, reports and certificates. A Sifrilo account is not required. Practice records, reward photos and word recordings are not automatically sent to NetanelVision.
Permissions and sharing
Camera and photo access allow reward images; microphone access allows recordings you initiate. Recordings are not uploaded to a transcription service. Device speech services read words when no recording is available; their behavior depends on the device and installed voices. You can revoke permissions in device settings.
Reports and certificates may contain the child’s name, results, mistakes and reward images. Email opens in your mail app and requires your confirmation to send. Printing or sharing uses device services. Your selected recipient and service receive the content you choose to share under their own policies.
Subscriptions and network services
Where subscriptions are enabled, Apple processes purchases and RevenueCat verifies transactions and access. They may process app user identifiers, transaction and product information, subscription status, device and connection data. Sifrilo’s integration does not send learning results, children’s names, photos or recordings to RevenueCat. We do not receive your payment card number. See Apple’s privacy policy and RevenueCat’s privacy policy. RevenueCat is not used when subscriptions are not configured. The described version includes no advertising or advertising trackers. Network services may process IP addresses and technical request information.
Parents, retention and deletion
Parents should manage permissions, purchases and sharing. A nickname can be used instead of a full name. History retains up to 300 rounds. Clear history, remove words and recordings, edit settings or remove reward images in the relevant app screens. Uninstalling usually removes local app data. Device backups, shared copies and providers’ purchase records are separate and must be managed with the relevant service. Contact us about children’s information sent to support; we cannot remotely access data held only on your device.
Support and website
We receive your email address, message and attachments when you contact support and use them to address your request. Correspondence is retained as needed for the request, follow-up and applicable obligations. Email us to request access, correction or deletion of information you sent us. Avoid unnecessary personal details about children. This website has no analytics scripts, advertising or tracking cookies. GitHub Pages may process IP addresses and request logs under GitHub’s privacy statement. We may update this policy when the app or services change.
