Local file scanning

Pristine Disk processes file names, paths, sizes, file types and available dates on your Mac to display scan results. Duplicate detection reads file contents locally to identify identical files. The app does not upload file names, file contents or scan results to NetanelVision.

Folder permissions and settings

The app uses macOS folder permissions and stores security-scoped bookmarks locally to remember folders you authorize. App settings, scan schedules and the most recent scheduled-check time and size summary are stored locally. macOS controls access to protected locations. Notifications and opening at login are optional settings.

Subscriptions

Apple processes purchases and subscriptions. Pristine Disk uses StoreKit and Apple-verified transaction information to determine whether Pro is active and to restore access. NetanelVision does not receive your payment card details through the app. Apple's processing is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Analytics and advertising

The current app does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs and does not require a NetanelVision account.

Support messages

If you email us, we receive your email address and the message and attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond to your request. Avoid sending sensitive files or unnecessary personal information. Contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any applicable retention obligations.

Storage and deletion

You control your files and cleanup selections. Scan results are held locally by the app; preferences and authorized-folder bookmarks persist locally. Removing local app data does not cancel your Apple subscription or delete email you previously sent to support. We cannot remotely access or delete files held only on your Mac.

This website is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub may process IP addresses and request logs for hosting and security. The website does not add analytics or tracking cookies.

Updates

We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
